Orbital sander for door frames.

These are in my view the very best sanders for doors on the market sorted in no particular order. They are already painted in gloss but the surface isn t great so wanting to sanding them down a little to key in the new undercoat and top coat. Im not looking to go right back to the woodwork or anything like that would just like a really good finish. Can anyone reccomend a suitable micro sander for use on skirting boards door frames and sanding down filler on coving.

Ive got a circular orbital sander which is good on flat surfaces but no good for the skirting boards and ive got a flat orbital sander that has done a fairly decent job on the skirting boards and door frames. Hopefully won t be going back to bare wood. Just looking for a recommendation for a sander for skirting boards and door frames. Easier to move sanders to and from different areas when using a carrying case and a long cord.

Festool 571903 ets 150 3 eq random orbital finish sander the bigger and more powerful version of the excellent 125 req shown below the ets 150 is an incredibly versatile sander that has all the quality you d expect from a festool machine put into a compact and highly effective package. Two handed or large front grips make it easier to guide the sander accurately. It does look really nice but its messy and it. The random orbital sander left works fast and can smooth joints like the one on this cabinet door without leaving cross grain scratches.
